Hello, my name is Amy Woods and I am the founder and CEO of Soluna For Women. I have had quite the journey! I have gone from homelessness, being a drunk, to a happy healthy thriving CEO of my own company and a college graduate.

During this time I remarried and then I hit 40 years old. Perimenopause set in with a vengance. I felt so disconnected to myself and really I thought well this is part of the finding yourself after a hard period. I didn't realize it was perimenopause at the time and 8 years ago we as women were still trying to understand what was happening to our bodies and to get doctors to listen to us....Like HEAR US!

Finally some famous people stepped forward and lit a bright light on this subject. Brought it out to the public and suddenly there was an entire generation bonding over the fact that NOPE WE AREN'T CRAZY! We are transforming!

Unfortunately my symptoms have been gnarly. If you go to look for the 100 plus symptoms on perimenopause up in the dictionary, my picture should be there.

I had skin rashes, hot flashes, thinning hair, headaches, heavy periods, iron deficiency, and the list goes on and on!

There was one other symptom that not one person had told me about though and that was vaginal dryness. How the dryness effects EVERYTHING to do with our vaginal tissue, how our vagina functions, and how it can affect the health of our urinary track and more.

Now after going through what I went through I found a husband I was absoluty enamored by. Oh did we have fun in the bedroom, and it was like I had a partner who truly helped me explore sensations about my body I never knew existed.

Then suddenly, I wanted nothing to do with it. It hurt, made me bleed and spot after, I couldn't hardly wipe when I went pee for two days following because my tissue was so irritated.

I went to my doctor and told her what was happening and she gave me samples of lubricants, and told me to go get the renews to help with it.

IT DIDN'T! It stung to use, and left me feeling so unfresh.

I also dug into the ingredients of those other company's and what I found was so disturbing. Go to the Blog section of the website and read the article I posted on it. I wasn't going to use those products, but there was nothing out there.

My other thought was woman have enough products, why can't they make one that can be used for the glide during intimacy, and for daily use for moisture. Something that is all natural! Not filled with gross toxins.

The light bulb literally hit me over the head and that is when I went....NO RAN to the patent office and filed a patent on this concept.

Then I found a manufacturer who I could trust to make this all natural product and one that can do exactly what we were wanting it to do.

Now a year later from that moment of wishing for another type of product, we are finally in the last stage and launching as of May of 2026.

I refused to settle, and I am vowing to create more amazing products for women going through perimenopause, cancer treatments, fertility treatments, and hysterectomies.
